Our Silver Neighbors program empowers older adults to make better choices about their finances. Trained volunteer peer ambassadors travel to community sites such as senior centers, churches and housing developments to educate seniors about topics such as scams and fraud, Medicare, life insurance products, budgeting and benefits. These learning circles help seniors better understand their financial circumstances and become more knowledgeable about the services available to them in the community. Silver Neighbors is supported by the Plough Foundation’s CREA Initiative and the Kemmons Wilson Family Foundation.
TO QUALIFY
Silver Neighbors programming is free and available to senior citizens who reside in Memphis and Shelby County.
